Eain Aye Kyaw was born in Yangon in 1981. Inspired by a painter at the end of his
street, he attended the State School of Fine Arts in Yangon from 2001 to 2004. After
graduation, he worked as a commercial painter for the tourist trade and as a housing
broker, only becoming a full-time artist in 2010. He passed away far too soon at the
age of 33 in 2014.
