Myint San Myint was born in Rakhine State in 1965. After graduating from Yangon
University, he was employed as a school teacher in Sittwe, Rakhine State for eleven
years. Returning to Yangon in the late 1990s, he took up his father’s silkscreen
printing trade. He painted from 2004, working professionally from 2009, until his
death from Covid-19 in 2021.
