The Thukhuma Collection focuses on Myanmar’s transitional decade of the 2010s. With that decade passing into history, an opportunity arises to examine it through the paintings exhibited here. We thus reached out to some of the 120 or so artists in the collection and invited them to talk about one of their own artworks. We asked why they’d chosen or created it, and how both their life as an artist, and Myanmar, had changed in the 2010s. The brief interviews, plus the selected paintings, will be uploaded below. အပြောင်းအလဲကာလကို ဆေးချယ်ခြင်း

သုခုမတွင် စုစည်းထားသည့် ပန်းချီကားများသည် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ အကူးအပြောင်းကာလဖြစ်သော ၂၀၁၀ ဆယ်စုနှစ်ကို အလေးပေး ဖော်ပြထားပါသည်။ ထိုဆယ်စုနှစ်သည် သမိုင်းတွင်ကျန်ခဲ့ပြီဖြစ်သောကြောင့် ယခုပြသထားသည့် ပန်းချီကားများမှတဆင့် ထိုဆယ်စုနှစ်ကို သုံးသပ်ရန် အခွင့်အလမ်းရှိလာပြီဖြစ်သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ဤစုစည်းမှုတွင် ပါဝင်သည့် ပန်းချီဆရာ ၁၂၀ အနက်မှ အချို့ထံသို့ ဆက်သွယ်ပြီး ၎င်းတို့၏ပန်းချီကားတစ်ခု အကြောင်းပြောရန် ကမ်းလှမ်းခဲ့ပါသည်။ ထို့နောက် ပန်းချီကားကို ဘာကြောင့် ရွေးရကြောင်း သို့မဟုတ် ဖန်တီးခဲ့ကြောင်းနှင့် ၂၀၁၀ ဆယ်စုနှစ်တွင် ၎င်းတို့၏ ပန်းချီဆရာဘဝနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် မည်သို့ အပြောင်းအလဲများဖြစ်သွားကြောင်း မေးခဲ့ပါသည်။ အတိုချုပ်အင်တာဗျူးနှင့် ရွေးချယ်ထားသည့် ပန်းချီကားများကို စုစည်း၍ အောက်တွင် ဖော်ပြသွားမည်ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ပြီးခဲ့သည့်ဆယ်စုနှစ်တွင် ဆုံးပါးသွားသည့် ပန်းချီဆရာများ၏ ပန်းချီများကိုတော့ ဤမိတ်ဆက်စာနှင့် အတူတွဲ၍ ဖော်ပြသွားမည် ဖြစ်သည်။ ဤပန်းချီကားကို အိမ်အေးကျော်မှ ရေးဆွဲပါသည်။
